[SIC]
[sic] aka Dan Jeffries has been writing electronic music for over 15 years, working in old skool, drum and bass, electronica and, now, minimal techno and tech-house. The [sic] approach is to keep it minimal – but ‘party’ minimal. Expect sparse sounds and chewy basslines married with swinging drum patterns, glitchy fx and cheeky, catchy melodies.
Dan released his first EP on Drain Records (Datum EP) and followed this up with the Boom and Bust EP on Dropkick Music. Since then he has seen high profile releases on fellow Bristol label Slime, RE:SOUND and Malfunktion. His unique brand of Techno has seen support from the likes of Gary Beck, Dubfire, Eric Morillo, Quivver and Hernan Cattaneo. When he’s not busy laying down beats, Dan also co-runs techno night ‘LOST!’ in Bristol and DJ’s around the city on a regular basis.

Bosch Stacey
Bosch Stacey were originally a live electronic act, formed by brothers Jid and Ben Ives as an outlet for their own unique blend of bass driven dance music. Loosely described as filthy Electro meets Breaks, their tracks are bristling with analogue electronics and glitched up samples. The South-west (UK) based duo are more often found on stage than in the studio and have been performing their blistering live sets up and down the country for the last few years.
After a small number of independently funded releases through
Label7, the Ives brothers have finally decided to team up with the mighty AUX label, after harnessing their ferocious live performances into new studio based recordings.
